A SECTION of the M7 Limerick to Dublin motorway has reopened following a crash this Friday morning, but warnings remain in place about poor driving conditions on the road.
The M7 Limerick to Dublin Road northbound has reopened at junction 28 Castletroy following an earlier incident, but "continued care advised as conditions are poor due to ice," according to AA Roadwatch.

However, the M7 remains closed following an earlier crash northbound at Junction 27 Birdhill. Traffic is being diverted onto the old N7 and back on at Junction 26 Nenagh West, according to AA Roadwatch.

Gardai are reporting "very poor conditions in most parts, worst affected areas appear to be most of Munster, the Midlands & parts of Connacht & Ulster", AA Roadwatch said.
