WATCH: Treaty United earn point at Wexford in First Division

Enda Curran netted for Treaty United from the penalty spot in Friday night's draw away to Wexford FC

TREATY United's wait for a first win in the SSE Airtricity League First Division this season goes on after Tommy Barrett's charges played out a 1-1 draw with Wexford FC at Ferrycarrig Park on Friday night.

Visitors Treaty United led the contest 1-0 at half-time after Enda Curran netted from the penalty spot in the 39th minute. The spot kick was awarded after the Wexford 'keeper fouled Stephen Christopher inside the penalty area.

However, Wexford struck for an equaliser just two minutes into the second half when a ball into the box from James Crawford was headed into the bottom right corner of the net by Darragh Levingston.

Treaty United have now drawn three and lost three of their opening six league fixtures.

Next up for Treaty United is a home game against Longford Town at the Markets Field on Good Friday, 7.45pm kick-off.
