County final places up for grabs in Limerick Senior Ladies Football Championship

There are  semi-finals down for decision in the Limerick Senior Ladies Football Championship this weekend. Both senior ladies football championship semi-finals take place on Sunday at 3:45pm and the senior B semi-finals take place on Sunday at 11am. 

Senior county champions St Ailbes take on Dromcollogher Broadford on Sunday at 3:45pm in the Limerick senior ladies football championship semi-finals in Knocklong. St Ailbes are backboned by  Meadhbh MacNamara, Kate Kennedy and Georgia Keane.

Meanwhile, Dromcollogher-Broadford will be aiming to cause an upset against St Ailbes who were narrowly defeated by O'Donovan Rossa in the Munster Intermediate final last year. It has been an impressive campaign for Dromcollogher Broadford who finished top of group two after victories over Oola and Ballylanders and a draw with Old Mill.

Old Mill and Monagea meet in the other Limerick senior ladies football championship semi-final on Sunday at 3:45pm in Sean Finn Park, Rathkeale. Both sides came up short last year in the semi-finals of the championship. 

Grace Lee, Yvonne Lee, Roisin Browne and Grace Mullane will all be in action for Monagea. Limerick joint-captain Roisin Ambrose,  Sophie Hennessy and Iris Kennelly are all part of the Old Mill side. 

Oola face Feohanagh-Castlemahon in the Senior B Championship on Sunday at 11am in Fedamore and at the same time the reigning All-Ireland junior champions Mungret St Paul's take on Ballylanders in the Ballybricken-Bohermore club grounds.
