PALLASGREEN defeated Croom 5-19 to 0-11 in the Limerick Intermediate Hurling Championship relegation final in Knocklong on Thursday evening.
Croom will now play in the Premier Junior Hurling grade in the 2026 season, while Pallasgreen have retained their Intermediate Hurling Championship status for next year.
Croom have been relegated to the fourth tier of Limerick hurling, a setback for a club that reached a senior county final in 2007. Brian Fanning, Malachy McKenna, Tadgh Hourigan, PJ Butler and David Murphy all hit the net for the east Limerick side in their 23-point victory.

Meanwhile, the Premier Junior Hurling Championship quarter-finals take place this weekend. 2024 Junior A Champions Monaleen face Knockaderry in the first of the Premier Junior Hurling Championship quarter-finals in Mick Neville Park this evening at 7:30pm.
Limerick senior hurler Cathal O'Neill will be in action for Crecora-Manister against Caherline in Fedamore on Saturday afternoon at 2pm in the other Premier Junior Hurling Championship quarter-final. Askeaton Ballysteen Kilcornan and Doon's second team have advanced directly into semi-finals of the Premier Junior Hurling Championship after topping group one and two.
Dromcollogher Broadford meet Monagea in the Premier Junior Hurling Championship relegation hurling final on Sunday at 1pm in Quaid Park, Coolyroe.
