A MAN has been injured in an assault in Limerick city.
Gardai attended the scene of the assault at 5pm on Thursday on the Moyross Link Road.
A man in his 20s was taken to hospital to be treated for his injuries.
Gardai have confirmed to Limerick Live they are aware of the incident and that enquiries are ongoing.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Mayorstone garda station.
