Huge delays on Limerick road due to resurfacing works

IT is 'extremely slow' on one of Limerick's major road networks this Friday evening due to resurfacing works.

There are huge tailbacks on the N20 heading to the M20 on the Charleville road to Limerick and ahead on the motorway itself due to works. Motorists are reporting huge delays in the area.

According to AA Roadwatch: "It’s extremely slow this evening due to works where the N20 and N21 meet at Ballybronogue.

"The N20 has northbound delays from after the Croom exit right up to the N21 jct, and southbound traffic is now heavy from the Patrickswell slip-road on the motorway all the way out to Adare on the N21.

"There are also delays further along approaching Newcastle West and Abbeyfeale," it adds.
