Limerick Tunnel fully reopens after debris is cleared from lane

LIMERICK Tunnel has fully reopened after an earlier debris issues caused disruption and closed one of the lanes.

AA Roadwatch is reporting that debris has been removed from the southbound bore of the Limerick Tunnel and the left lane has reopened.

There are no further problems in the area, according to AA. However, Transport Infrastructure Ireland is warning motorists to "drive with care".

AA says that city traffic is light on the commuter routes this Friday morning, however roads are wet so it is advising motorists to slow down.
