According to a garda spokesperson: "The fire had spread to an adjoining property on the Ennis Road. Fire Services attended the scene and the fire was brought under control".

Limerick Fire and Rescue confirmed that four appliances from Limerick, two appliances from Shannon and one appliance from Cappamore were dispatched to the scene, necessary to control the flames.
