THE ALL-CONQUERING Limerick team of 1973 will be each be presented with a special edition hardback copy of 'Keeping the Dream Alive' when the launch of the book takes place this coming Sunday.
The book, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of the famous All-Ireland win, will be officially launched by Mayor of the City and County of Limerick, Councillor Gerald Mitchell, at the Woodands House Hotel.
It contains over 500 pages packed with original archive material plus a host of rare photographs, many of which have never been seen before - until now.
The net profits from this book will be shared between The Children's Ark University Hospital Limerick and Limerick Society St. Vincent de Paul.
Authors, James Lundon, Liam O'Brien and Niall Deegan have confirmed that copies of the book will be available on the night with the launch set to take place at 6.30pm in the Fitzgerald Suite at the Woodlands.
