Deaths in Limerick - April 9, 2018

THE death has occurred of Michael (Mike) Benson, Tuogh, Adare, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Very deeply regretted by his sorrowing sons Michael and Patrick, daughters Eileen (Mulqueen) and Mary (Moloney) sons-in-law Gerard and James, daughters-in-law Marian and Esther, grandchildren Michael, Niamh, Laura, Michelle, Aisling and Mary-Therese, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives kind neighbours and his many friends.

Reposing Wednesday evening at Daffy’s Funeral Home, Croom from 6pm with removal at 7.30pm to the Holy Trinity Church, Adare. Funeral on Thursday after 12 noon Requiem Mass to St. Nicholas’ Cemetery, Adare. House private please.

The death has occurred of James (Jim) Curtin, Egmont, Churchtown, Mallow and late of Killaculeen, Tournafulla, peacefully, in the presence of his family.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (nee O'Connor) and much loved father of Bridget, Dan, Siobhan, Eileen, Jimmy and Kayleen, his adored grandchildren Alanna, Aislinn, Katie, Joey, Barry, Éabha and Lauren and brother of Larry, Noreen and the late Joan, Maurice and Séan. Sadly missed by his loving family, brother, sister, grandchildren, sons-in-law Malachy and Donal, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, carers, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bank Place, Buttevant on Tuesday from 5.30pm to 7.30pm followed by removal to St. Nicholas' Church, Churchtown. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 1pm. Funeral afterwards to St. Brigid's Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Johanna (Josie) O'Carroll, The Square, Dromcollogher,  peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Predeceased by her brother Larry. Deeply regretted by her cousins, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.

Rosary on Monday at Mc Carthys Funeral Home at 7pm. Reposing at McCarthys Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6.30pm to 8pm. Removal afterwards to St Bartholomew's Church. Dromcollogher. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 12.30 O Clock followed by burial in Dromcollogher Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Anne Potter, Howardstown, Bruree, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.

Honary Life President of Bruree G.A.A. Beloved wife of the late Mick and dear mother of John, Helen, Catherine, Ann, Mike,Tom, Joan, Martha, Edward and the late Pat. Deeply regretted by her loving sons, daughters, brother Ned, sister Joan, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Hawe's Funeral Home on Monday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Reception into The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Bruree on Tuesday for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to Bruree old Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to The Stroke Unit, Limerick University Hospital.
