RIP: Limerick deaths and funeral details, Friday, April 10

The death has occurred of Anne Gallagher.

Of Dernish Avenue, Foynes, who passed away unexpectedly on April 9, 2026.

Predeceased by her Mother Mary Gallagher (nèe Hennessy) and Father Alan Gallagher.

Anne will be sadly missed by her loving sisters Gillian (Frawley) and Laura (Collins), Brothers in Law Liam Frawley and Liam Collins, aunts, uncles, nephews Jack, Sam, James and Charlie, niece Libby, cousins, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace

Reposing at St Senan's Church, Foynes on Sunday, April 12, from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass will take place in Foynes Church on Monday April 13, at 12noon followed by burial afterwards in Robertstown Cemetery.

On April 9, 2026, peacefully at Corbally House Nursing Home in her 91st year, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of the late Ted. Dearly loved mother of John, Therese, Ted, Brian and Kieran. Marie will be sadly missed by her loving daughters-in-law Charlene, Vera, Lena, Mimoza and Judy, sisters Ann, Delma, Clair, Catherine, grandchildren, great grandchildren brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her brothers Desmond, Dick, Austin, Paddy and Tony, beloved son-in-law Tom, granddaughter Joanne and grandsons Mark and Ronan.

Of Main Street, Abbeyfeale and more recently of Good Shepherd Avenue.

Passed away peacefully at St. Camillus’ Nursing Home Limerick on Friday, April 10, 2026. John is very deeply regretted by his loving daughter Samantha, son-in-law David, grandchildren Jessica and David, all his neighbours and friends.

John’s cremation will take place at Shannon Crematorium on Sunday, April 12 at 3pm.
