The death has occurred of Birdie (Bridget) Skehan, late of North Circular Road and Helene Modes, Roches Street, Limerick and originally, Kilmore, Co. Clare.
Slipped away gently, in her 108th year, while in the tender care of the Ennis Road Care Facility, on 2nd November 2025.
Pre-deceased by her parents Helena and Michael, sister Nonie-May, brother Jeremiah, brother-in-law Tom Cusack, nephew Terence Cusack and grandnephew Tom Cusack.
Birdie will be greatly missed by her loving nieces Helma Lynam and Rhona Levingstone, niece-in-law Sheila Cusack, nephew-in-law Ernest, grandnieces and grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, god-daughter Cora Reidy, relatives, kind neighbours, and many friends.

Reposing at Griffin's Funeral Home, John's Gate on Wednesday, 5th November from 5pm to 6.30pm, followed by Removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road. Requiem Mass will take place on Thursday, 6th November at 11am, Burial afterwards in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Ursula Leslie, M.Pharm. (UCD) and Barrister-at-Law (Middle Temple), Tarbert House, Tarbert, Co. Kerry and formerly of Limerick City, Co. Limerick.
Ursula Leslie (nee O’Doherty) passed away peacefully, at University Hospital Kerry, during a brief stay, with her loving family by her side on 2nd November 2025.
Ursula is predeceased by her loving husband John F. Leslie, her parents Michael and Ursula and her siblings Pat, Tom, Phil and Mick.
Ursula will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving daughters Ursula and Olivia, her sons-in-law Brendan and Paddy, her grandchildren Jessica, Flora and John, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family, relatives, neighbours and her many friends.

Ursula’s Funeral Cortege will depart Tarbert House on this Friday morning (November 7th) at 10:15am to arrive at St. Mary’s Church, Tarbert for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s New Cemetery, Tarbert.

The death has occurred of Liam Downey, Church Street, Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick, who passed away peacefully, in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at Killeline Care Centre, Newcastle West, Co. Limerick, on Monday, 3rd November 2025.
Predeceased by his parents Timothy and Mary, brothers Noel, Seán and Michael, sister-in-law Mary and nephew Noel.
Liam is very sadly missed by his loving daughters Geraldine (Mahon), Jacqueline (O’ Donoghue), son Thomas and their mother Margaret Relihan, Geraldine’s partner Brian, adored grandchildren John and Robert Mahon, (their wives Eimear and Angela) Mark O’ Donoghue, Jack and Sean Downey, great-grandchildren Margot, Celine, Frankie J. and Sierra, sister Ann Hennessey, brother-in-law Kevin, nephews, nieces, all his other relatives and a large circle of friends.
