Deaths in Limerick
The death has occurred of Pat Cahill, Kylefea, Croom, Co Limerick and formerly of Banogue, Co Limerick on October 13, peacefully after a short illness, in the wonderful care of all the staff at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Bridget, brothers Jerry, Anthony and Con and sister Breda.
Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife Eileen (English), sons Patsy, Gerard, Mickey, Sean, Brendan and David, daughters Mairead, Sheila, Annette, Theresa and Lorraine, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, adored grandchildren, brother Sean, sister Mary, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours and friends.
Reposing this Thursday, October 16 at St Mary’s Church, Croom from 6pm with evening prayers at 7.30pm.
Funeral Mass on Friday, October 17 at 12noon, after which Pat will be laid to rest in Reilig Mhuire, Croom.

The death has occurred of Brendan Lyddy, Monkstown, Co Dublin formerly of Limerick city and Ballinderry, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and late of The Irish Press, on October 13 peacefully, at home, with his cherished daughter Sadhbh by his side.
Predeceased by his wife Emer.
Brendan will be forever loved and missed by his daughter, son-in-law Donal, granddaughter Muireann, brother Ciaran, sisters-in-law Hilda and Gay and her husband Tom, nieces, nephews, relatives and his many swimming friends from Whiterock Beach. A special word of thanks to his wonderful carers and in particular to Dahlia.
Brendan will repose on Wednesday evening, October 15 at Fanagans Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown (A94 XK28) from 5pm to 7pm.
Funeral Service on Thursday morning, October 16 at 11am in St Patrick’s Church, Monkstown followed thereafter by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Bernadette (Bernie) Molan, Tearmann Uí Chaoimh, Mitchelstown and formerly of Glenacurrane, Anglesboro on October 13 unexpectedly but peacefully in the presence of her loving family and in the tender care of the staff of St Catherine’s Ward, Mercy University Hospital Cork.
Predeceased by her parent’s Jackie and Betty.
Bernie will be sadly missed by her beloved brother Tommie, sisters Catherine Bowden (Glanworth), Helena Norris (Mitchelstown) and Liz O’Driscoll (Ballyhooly), brothers in law John, Pat and Sean, nephews Patrick, Patrick (N), David and Jack, nieces Liza, Maria, Fiona and Emer, grandnephews, grandniece , cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Kilbehenny (Eircode P67 PK74) on Thursday, October 16 from 5pm to 7pm followed by removal to St Joseph’s Church, Kilbehenny. Requiem Mass on Friday, October 17 at 11.30am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Helen O’Driscoll (née O’Connor) Elton Court, Meelick, Co Clare and formerly of Moyross, Limerick and Towerhill, Cappamore, Co Limerick on October 14, peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by father Joe, mother Nellie, brothers Roger, Willie-Joe and Pat and sisters Mary and Esther.
Beloved wife of Tim and adored mother of Deirdre, William, Dermot, Aileen, Conor and Paul, daughter-in-law Nadia and cherished grandchildren Orla, Aoife, Theo, Hugo, Gráinne, Fiadh and Íde.
Helen will be deeply missed and forever loved by her family, brothers John, Frankie, James, Connie and Jerry, sisters Breda, Teresa and Joan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and her loyal companions Summer, Shadow, Maisie and Milo.

Funeral will arrive Friday, October 17, at Corpus Christi Church, Moyross (Eir code: V94V2W0) for Requiem Mass at 12pm, after which Helen will be laid to rest in Ballycannon Cemetery, Meelick.

Beloved wife of the late Pat. Dearly loved mother of Allison, Enda, Sheena, Rebecca, Patrick and Eoin. Sadly missed by her sisters Eimear, Fabyan and Frances, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Thursday, October 16 from 6pm to 7.30pm. Funeral arriving at St Joseph’s Church, O’Connell Avenue on Friday, October 17 for Requiem Mass at 11.30am followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.
