RIP: Limerick deaths and funeral details, Tuesday, July 22

Deaths in Donegal

May they rest in peace

The death has occurred of Sherry Mahon, Cherry Drive, Dooradoyle, Limerick on July 20 peacefully, in the loving care of Milford Care Centre. 

Dearly loved mother of Dawn and Desireé. Sadly missed by her son-in-law Georg, her cherished granddaughters Sonia, Samantha, Emily, Lena and Jessica, brother Bruce, extended family, her dear friend Chris, neighbours and friends.

A Memorial Service will take place at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Friday, July 25 at 12 noon.

The death has occurred of Gerard O'Brien, Maxwell Lane, Croom and formerly of Castlequarter, Fedamore and late of Caherconlish, Co Limerick and ex South Court Hotel, on July 20. 

Very deeply regretted by his wife Sinéad, daughter Roseanna, mother Eileen, Tom, sister Rachelle and partner Eoin, brothers Thomas, Niall, Dean and partner Marissa and Jack, nephews, nieces, uncles in particular Johnny, aunts in particular Carol, cousins and his many friends.

Predeceased by grandparents John and Roseanne McNamara. 

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Ballyneety, Wednesday, July 23, from 5pm to 7pm, followed by removal to St.John The Baptist Church, Fedamore.

Requiem Mass Thursday, July 24, at 12pm, funeral afterwards to Kilmurry Cemetery, Castletroy.

The death has occurred of Desmond T (Des) Quaid, Mayorstone Drive, Limerick and late of Des Quaid Car Sales on July 22, peacefully, after a brief illness, at his residence.

Predeceased by parents Thomas and Kathleen and brother Tommy. 

Very deeply regretted by his son Adam, sisters Anne and Jacquie, sister-in-law Eilis, brother-in-law Gerry Garvey, nieces Catherine, Grace, Gillian and Beth, nephews Shane, Gordon and Graham, aunt Josie Ryan, other relatives, friends and neighbours. 

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Thursday, July 24, from 4.30pm to 6pm, followed by removal to Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Ennis Road.

Requiem Mass Friday, July 25, at 11am, funeral afterwards to Mount St Oliver Cemetery.
