Deaths in Limerick: Thursday October 24

The death has occurred of Kevin Martin of Upper Gerald Griffin Street, Limerick city, and Halifax, UK.

Died October 19, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his father Michael Snr, his mother Eileen, brother Michael, sisters-in-law Elsie and Toni.

Dearly missed by his loving daughters Kelly, Jenny and Eve, brothers Leo and Denis, sisters Terri (Larkin) and Bernie (Leonard), grandchildren Amber, Anaisa, Arabella and Ruby, sons-in-law Chris and William, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces and by his many friends in Limerick and Halifax.

May He Rest in Peace.

Funeral will take place in Halifax on November 13, at 12:30pm in St Mary's Church, Halifax.

Cremation to follow at Parkwood Crematorium.

Mass to follow in Limerick at a later date.

The death has occurred of Michael McInerney of Frankfurt, Germany, late of Lelia Street, Limerick city.

On October 1, peacefully, in Germany, in the company of his friend Uwe, after a long illness.

Predeceased by his parents and sister Mary Daly.

Deeply regretted by his sister Eva Durack, her husband Austin and his niece and nephews Edel, Aidan, Mike, Paul, Mairead, Colm and Brian, and his many cousins and friends here in Ireland, Germany and America. Especially his 2 dear German friends Uwe and Stefan.

Funeral will be held in Frankfurt.

Mass will be offered for the repose of his soul, on Sunday, Novermber 10 in St Brigid's Church, St Patrick's Road, Limerick at 11:30.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.


The death has occurred of John Spellacy of St Camillus Hospital, Limerick city.

Former publican of Spellacy Pub, Ballysheedy, Co Limerick.

On October 17, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick.

Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Jack Spellacy.

Deeply regretted by his families, neighbours and friends.

May He Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, on Friday, October 25, from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, followed by burial in Craughan Cemetery Cratloe, Co Clare, arriving at approximately 2:15pm.

"I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on.

I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them"
