Deaths in Limerick: Saturday, November 25, 2023

THE DEATH has occurred of Michael Cuddihy, formerly from Castletroy, Limerick and Glasnevin, Dublin.

A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, died peacefully on November 23, 2023. 

Michael will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Aine, who was his best friend and soulmate, their beloved children Anne, Tony and Emma, brother Sean, sons-in-law John and Owen, daughter-in-law Sinéad and his grandsons, Milo, Gabe, Rian and Luca. He will also be greatly missed by his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

A service will take place on Tuesday, November 28 at 12.30pm in Glasnevin Cemetery Crematorium followed by cremation.

The death has occurred of Catherine (Kitty) Hillery (née Hurley), late of Castletroy, Limerick, formerly Lisnagry, Limerick, and O’Callaghan’s Mill’s, Co Clare.

Kitty passed away peacefully following a short illness, surrounded by her loving family in the care of Milford Care Center on 25th November 2023.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Michael, her parents Elsie and Jack Hurley, and her brother Seán.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters Anya, Siobhán, Michele, Una and Claire, their husbands, her grandchildren Danny, Robbie, Tom, Sam, Aisling, Caoimhe and Freya, her siblings Donal, Maureen (McAuliffe), Breda (O’Driscoll), Jo (Hickey) and Ann (Casey), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and her wide circle of dear friends.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate, Pennywell, Limerick, (Eircode V94Y2W4) on Sunday 26th November from 3pm to 5pm. Funeral arriving at Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Milford (Eircode V94X832) for Requiem Mass on Monday 27th November at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Castleconnell.
