EXCITEMENT and celebrations have flooded the village of Pallaskenry as a Limerick couple have claimed their Lotto jackpot prize worth an astonishing €2,655,366.

Gala was revealed as the store that sold the winning Lotto Jackpot ticket. This win makes the Limerick player the sixth National Lottery millionaire of 2025.

The player picked up their winning Quick Pick ticket from Gala in Pallaskenry, on February 26. The winning numbers that turned dreams into reality were: 2, 6, 7, 10, 28, 32 and the Bonus was 19.

With their life-changing windfall, the ecstatic winners are now basking in the glow of their incredible fortune. While they have no immediate plans for their newfound fortune, they are thrilled at the prospect of looking after their friends and family.

The couple shared: “While we take our time to decide what to do with this life-changing prize, our habits of playing the Lotto will more than likely continue - we even have our Lotto tickets purchased for this Saturday's draw!”

Store owner Chen Xiyuan expressed his joy after receiving the news that his shop sold the winning ticket, saying:

"I’ve been running the shop here for over four years, and this is by far the most exciting Lotto moment we've ever had! Pallaskenry may be a small village, but we’re a close-knit community, and our team of three works hard to serve everyone here. This incredible news has brought a wonderful buzz to the village, and we couldn’t be happier for the winner. We wish them all the best as they embark on this life-changing journey."

This latest jackpot marks the fourth Lotto win of 2025, joining other recent winners from Dublin, Louth, and Kerry. Over €12.5 million in Lotto Jackpots has been awarded this year alone.

National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, said: “We’re delighted to welcome another jackpot winner. With such an amazing start to the year, it’s been a joy to see so many lives transformed. So far this year, we have double the amount of jackpot winners compared to last.”

“We can officially confirm that the winner has been in contact, and arrangements are underway for them to collect their prize. We look forward to celebrating with them at Lottery HQ.”

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage and the Irish Language. In total, more than €6.5 billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 37 years ago.
