There has been some snowfall in Limerick overnight - pictured is Bruree
OVERNIGHT snow and sleet in parts of Limerick are causing travel disruption with several reports of early-morning collisions and the cancellation of some public transport services.
A Status Yellow Snow-Ice weather warning, issued by Met Éireann on Wednesday, remains in place until 11pm.
Given the poor road conditions in places, Local Link services serving Limerick towns and villages such as Athea, Carrigkerry, Ballincarry, Croom, Newcastle West, Ballyorgan, Ardpatrick, Effin and Charleville have all been impacted but may resume later this Thursday.
