Some of the provocative signage which has been erected at the city nightclub
WHAT looks like an exotic new club in Limerick is causing a stir, but, on closer inspection, it’s all just smoke and mirrors!
Shoppers and passersby at Cornmarket Row in the city centre have been doing double-takes this Friday at signage which appears to advertise an exotic club that seems to have sprung up overnight.
However, the truth behind the provocative façade is it's all part of a movie set.
"Exotic TOPLESS GIRLS All Night," one of the daring neon pink and gold signs screams out.
"Girls, Girls, Girls. 18 & Over. Open 5 Nights," reads another with a silhouette of a dancing female.
One reader forwarded two images of the scenes to Limerick Live wondering if a new nighttime business venue was opening up in the city while shops were closing down.
A reliable source confirmed however, that the signs are part of the set for the movie, 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank, starring Golden Globe-winning actor Liam Neeson.
"The crew of 4 Kids Walk into a Bank were filming at Angel Lane the last two days," a source told Limerick Live in relation to the signage erected on the doors of the popular Limerick nightclub.

Filming for the movie has sparked great excitement since it began in the city last month. It restarted this week following the Christmas break.
Other areas of the city, including Gleeson's Spar on the corner of Catherine Street and Glentworth Street, have been redesigned to appear as stores and venues in the United States of the 1990s.
