THOMOND remain second in the Ulster Bank League Division 2C table after picking up two bonus points in their 39-32 home defeat to Omagh on Saturday.

Thomond led their Ulster opponents 25-13 at half-time at Liam Fitzgerald Park on Saturday, thanks to tries from Ger Finnucane, David O’Halloran and Darragh O’Neill who brought his tally of tries for the season to 10. Evan Cusack kicked the remaining points.
Cusack bagged the bonus point try for the home side after 56 minutes with the conversion making it 32-20.
