A TRIBUTE song written in memory of the late mother-of-one Marguerita Sheridan has garnered huge support from the public online.
Singer Mandi Fisher rewrote an existing song of hers in memory of the late 21-year-old Ms Sheridan who was critically injured outside her home in Bank Place, Rathkeale following a tragic incident on December 21.
She has since been laid to rest and a man has been charged with dangerous driving causing her death.
The tribute song called Hey Mum (Hey Maggie), has been widely praised on social media with singer Mandi Fisher penning some heartfelt words to accompany the release of the tune.

Sharing a video of the song, Mandi wrote on Facebook: “Hey mum, (Hey Maggie) my song rewritten for beautiful Marguerita Sheridan.
“I was asked by beautiful Marguerita Sheridan's lovely family to rewrite and personalise my song Hey Mum so that it’s all about Maggie and her love for her son and family and her life.
“And here it is the finished song and video dedication for beautiful Maggie. It truly meant so so much to do this for beautiful Maggie and her family God Bless.”
Mandi also sang at Ms Sheridan’s funeral mass on December 29 in St Mary’s Church, Rathkeale.
Mandi’s song Hey Mum (Hey Maggie) has garnered much praise on social media, with one person writing: “This is absolutely beautiful, I never in my whole life heard a most beautiful song and the words.
“What a beautiful girl, daughter, wife and mother, so heartbreaking. RIP beautiful angel.”
Another person wrote: “Such a beautiful tribute Mandi, heartbreaking, RIP, beautiful angel heartbreaking, God give all the family strength to try and get through each day”.
