"It probably wasn't enough to get over the line, we came away with a loss (against Na Piarsaigh last year in the Limerick SHC semi-final). It's just to get better than last year, get better every game and to not look too far ahead. We're aiming at a win Thursday night," said Kilmallock senior hurler Conor Staunton at the launch of the Whitebox Limerick senior hurling championship.
Kilmallock remain unbeaten in the Limerick senior hurling championship. James Hickey's side defeated Patrickswell in round one and the south Limerick club rescued a draw late on against Ahane in round two. Kilmallock are in third place on three points in group one of the Limerick SHC.
