"We've lost three semi-finals in-a-row and a couple of good young lads coming up in the last few years. It's important that you keep striving to take that extra step. We felt that that we didn't show our best, last year, it would be good to take it another step further this year," said Effin's Tommy Quaid at the launch of the Lyons of Limerick premier intermediate hurling championship launch.
Effin get their Limerick premier intermediate hurling championship campaign underway on Thursday evening against Croagh-Kilfinny. Adrian Barrett remains in charge of the south Limerick club this year.
