"IT'S a brilliant feeling to win this final after coming up short last year in extra-time, I'm just so proud of the lads."
These were Murroe-Boher's U20 hurling manager Pat Tobin's words after his side edged past Ahane in the U20A hurling final yesterday afternoon in UL by a single point, 1-17 to 0-19.
A John O'Keeffe free in the 61 minute was the deciding score in a thrilling contest which was action packed from start to finish. After losing their goalie to a red card after seven minutes of play, Murroe-Boher were down to 14 men for the remainder of the game, but true guts and determination saw them get over the line against a strong Ahane side.
