WATCH: Monaleen have sights set on senior B hurling championship glory after competitive league campaign

The Castletroy club are aiming for a successful season in senior B in the hopes of making it to the top flight of Limerick club hurling

MONALEEN are aiming for senior B glory this season as they set their sights on promotion to the senior A competition next season. That dream all depends on how well they compete in group two of the Bons Secours Hospital County Senior Hurling Championship.

Luke Murphy from the Monaleen club spoke at the launch of the senior club hurling championship stating: "In senior B if you have any ambitions to progress upwards you need four or five wins in the championship and a good start is key to to that.
