HOLDERS Newcastle West opened their Irish Wire Products Limerick senior football championship campaign with a hard fought 3-7 to 1-11 victory over Fr Casey's at Tournafulla on Thursday night.
Second half goals from Eoin Hurley and Sean Murphy saw Jimmy Lee's Newcastle West side reverse a four-point half time deficit to earn a two point winning margin.
