WATCH: Limerick manager Mark Fitzgerald proud of players' efforts after Clare loss

LIMERICK bowed out of the Munster Senior Football Championship after a 1-16 to 0-16 loss to Clare in the semi-final at the TUS Gaelic Grounds last Saturday evening.

Mark Fitzgerald's side put in a heroic effort in the closely fought contest but ultimately fell to a three-point defeat and will now play in the Tailteann Cup for the rest of the season.

Following the defeat, Mark Fitzgerald said he was immensely proud of the efforts that his charges put in.
