WATCH: Adare hoping dual status of club pays off in senior camogie championship

Adare suffered a tough defeat to 2023 champions Newcastle West in their opening round fixture

ADARE are hoping that their dual club status will propel them forward in the senior camogie championship this season as the team jump between ladies football and camogie.

Sophie O'Callaghan spoke about the senior camogie team juggling both football and camogie championships at the same time: "Most of the girls play both so one week it's football and the next it's camogie so you just have to switch on to whatever sport it is that week. Everyone is seriously fit with all the training we have been doing but it can be hard to juggle both of them."

The team suffered a tough opening round defeat to 2023 champions Newcastle West and will be aiming to put a better performance together against Killeedy this Saturday night at 7pm.
