UL Bohemian RFC to celebrate record breaking season with victory ball

Club marks 25 years of women’s rugby with the three-in-a-row All-Ireland League champions
UL BOHEMIAN RFC will host a victory vall at the Castletroy Park Hotel on Saturday, November 14 to celebrate one of the most successful seasons in the club’s history.
The night will focus on the success for the women’s and underage sides, as well as promotion for the men’s senior team in the 2025-26 season.
The UL Bohs women’s senior side claimed the Women’s All-Ireland League title for the third consecutive year, extending their record as the most decorated team in the competition’s history with 16 AIL titles.
The women’s seconds completed a double, winning the Munster Division 2 League and the Munster Bowl, while the men’s senior team secured promotion to Division 2A of the All-Ireland League.
The club’s underage sides added to the haul, with the U18.5 team lifting both the North Munster Cup and the Tom Tierney Cup, and the U16s winning the Munster Open Cup.
The celebration carries added significance as this season marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of a women’s team at UL Bohemian RFC.
In the quarter-century since, the women’s section has become the standard bearer of Irish women’s rugby with many of its players going on to represent Munster and Ireland.
The evening begins with a drinks reception at 6.30pm, followed by a meal, presentations and live entertainment, with music from Limerick band Traffic.
Tickets are available from UL Bohemian RFC committee members or online at https://hub.klubfunder.com/ULBohemianRFC/payit/ticketsale/victory-ball/detail.
