LARGELY dry today with just isolated light showers. A few sunny spells for the morning with more widespread sunshine developing from the east later. Highest temperatures of seven to 10 degrees with moderate to fresh east to southeast winds developing, before easing mostly light later.
NATIONAL OUTLOOK
High pressure dominating at first with largely dry conditions. Temperatures increasing midweek. More unsettled conditions developing towards the weekend.
Dry, cold and mostly clear tonight. Some frost expected with lowest temperatures of minus one to four degrees. A few mist and fog patches may also develop.

Mostly dry with spells of sunshine tomorrow, especially in the morning. Some cloud will push in from the south at times bringing the chance of the odd stray light shower. A milder day with highest temperatures of 9 to 13 degrees generally, a little cooler for eastern and northeastern areas, in mostly light easterly breezes, more moderate in the southwest.
Tomorrow night, largely dry with long clear spells and a chance of a stray light shower. Lowest temperatures of one to six degrees. Some mist and fog patches will form in light easterly breezes.
Predominately dry with spells of warm sunshine on Thursday, turning hazy at times. Highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees generally in light to moderate southeast breezes.
Dry and mostly clear at first on Thursday night. Cloud will build from the south through the night. Lowest temperatures of five to nine degrees in moderate easterly winds.
Some uncertainty in the details but Friday is indicated to be a breezy day. Largely cloudy in the morning but sunny spells and scattered showers will develop, most frequent in the southwest and west with some heavy showers possible. Highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees in moderate to fresh southeasterly winds.
Current indications suggest that the weekend will be unsettled with showery outbreaks of rain before high pressure starts to build back in early next week.
