The latest weather warning comes into effect at 11pm this Thursday
MET Éireann is warning there be 'heavy bursts' of rain with a potential for localised flooding in Limerick this Thursday night and Friday morning.
The national forecaster has issued a status yellow rain warning for Limerick, Cork and Kerry.
"Heavy bursts of rain or showers overnight and Friday morning coupled with waterlogged soils and high river levels is likely to lead to further localised flooding and dangerous travelling conditions," states the warning which comes into effect at 11pm this Thursday.

The latest weather warning from Met Éireann will remain in place until 9am on Friday.
Gardai and the Road Safety Authority are particularly appealing to motorists to exercise caution if travelling during any bad weather.
Local authority crews have been placed on standby to respond to any incidents.
