Met Éireann has issues a number of status orange and status yellow weather warnings including for Limerick
MET Éireann has issued weather warnings for 13 counties including Limerick.
Status orange rain warnings have been issued for Cork and Waterford while status yellow rain warnings have been issued for Limerick, Clare, Kerry, Tipperary, Kilkenny, Wexford and all of Connacht.
All of the warnings are due to come into effect at 6am on Tuesday and will remain in place for 24 hours.

Met Éireann says potential impacts include localised flooding, poor visibility, and difficult driving conditions.
The forecaster says there may also be blustery east to southeast winds at times
Local authority staff, particularly in Cork and Waterford, have been placed on alert and motorists are being urged to exercise caution if travelling during any bad weather.
