THE fixtures for the 2025 Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup Second Round, including those featuring SSE Airtricity League First Division side Treaty United and Limerick District League Premier Division champions Fairview Rangers, have been confirmed.

Some 32 teams are set to compete across the country from Friday, July 18 to Sunday, July 20. 

Limerick District League Premier Division champions Fairview Rangers were handed a glamour FAI Cup tie with Damien Duff's Shelbourne set to visit Limerick for the second round tie. The Limerick side secured their place into round two of the FAI Cup when they defeated Baldoyle United 4-0 in May.

Fairview will host Shelbourne on Saturday, July 19 at Singland Park at 6pm, subject to approval.

2025 has been a hugely successful year for Fairview Rangers winning the Limerick District League Premier Division, the FAI Junior Cup and the Lawson Cup titles.

Treaty United were drawn against Derry City in round two of the FAI Cup. Tommy Barrett's charges will see this as a chance to build on their impressive league form. Treaty currently sit in fourth place in the League of Ireland first division.

The meeting of Treaty United and Derry City in the FAI Cup will take place at the Markets Field on Friday, July 18 at 7.45pm.

Last year, Treaty reached the FAI Cup quarter-final where they were defeated by Wexford. 

Treaty United played out a 1-1 draw with Dundalk at Oriel Park in the First Division on Friday night. 

This year’s FAI Cup final will take place at the Aviva Stadium on Sunday, November 9 at 15:00 with holders Drogheda United beginning the defence of their title at home to Crumlin United on Friday, July 18. 

Killester Donnycarney’s clash with Bohemians will be played at Dalymount Park after both Clubs agreed to reverse the venue for this fixture.
