Women's World Boxing Champion Kellie Harrington was in Limerick this week for a training session at St Francis Boxing Club.
The 2018 gold medal winner in the lightweight division was in town to spar with local boxing stars Myles and Tommy Casey.
“Kellie is a great friend of ours here in St Francis Boxing Club” admitted Ken Moore.
“She contacted me over Christmas saying that she wanted to get back in the ring after a short break and we were delighted to offer her the opportunity” Moore continued.
“The trio took turns to spar over five three minute rounds each. It was an excellent work out and we will be heading up to Kellie in the coming weeks to work with here again” concluded Moore.
