Limerick hurling success in Toronto

KILDIMO-PALLASKENRY GAA club were supporting two club men in finals thousands of miles apart last weekend.

Kyle Hayes captained the Limerick minors into the county's eighth ever All Ireland MHC final in Croke Park.

Meanwhile, across the Atlantic ocean Daniel Kirby was playing in the North American County Board Finals.

There was no walk up the steps of the Hogan Stand for Kyle Hayes to lift the Irish Press Cup, but Kirby’s Toronto side were victorious.

The Toronto Hurling Club won the NACB intermediate hurling final – they beat the Calgary Chieftains 1-23 to 3-6 in the final.
