Holders Munsters' to face UL-Bohs in Limerick Charity Cup

HOLDERS Young Munster will host UL-Bohemian in the quarter-final of the 92nd Limerick Charity Cup at the end of next month.

The last eight clash is due to take place at Clifford Park on August 26.

Munsters’ defeated UL-Bohs 27-14 at the semi-final stage of last season’s competition.

Both clubs have new head coaches this season, with Gearoid Prendergast making the switch from UL-Bohs to take charge at Munsters this summer.

UL-Bohs are coached by Christy Neilan. The winners of that quarter-final will face either 2015 Charity Cup winners Thomond or Nenagh Ormond in the semi-finals. Those sides meet in Nenagh on August 27.

Elsewhere, in the quarter-finals, Bruff will host Shannon, with the winner of that last eight clash facing Garryowen or last season’s beaten finalists Old Crescent in the semi-finals.
