Limerick Racecourse stages final Twilight fixture

THE curtain comes down on Limerick Racecourse’s Twilight racing season at Greenmount Park this Thursday night, July 21.

The on-track National Hunt racing action features four hurdle races, two steeplechases and a bumer. The first race on a competitive seven-race card gets under way at 5.40pm with the Keanes Jewellers Ladies Day, October 9, Maiden Hurdle.

Racing concludes with the Ladbrokes Munster National 9th October Flat Race which is due off at 8.50pm.

Country music star Johnny Brady will perform after racing on Thursday night at Greenmount Park.

Johnny Brady has become a household name on the Country Music scene in Ireland with his live band.

General admission tickets are priced at €15 per person to include admission to the races and music.

Summer Packages are available at €38 per person to include admission to the races, race card, summer meal, €5 bet and drink coupon.

Conor O’Neill, General Manager of Limerick Racecourse said: “I look forward to welcoming everyone to Limerick Racecourse to round off our summer season in style on Thursday, July 21.
