Ten-man MK Dons came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Tranmere at Prenton Park.
Charlie Whitaker’s brace put Rovers two goals to the good at half-time, before Jon Mellish got one back for Paul Warne’s side.
Jonathan Leko was sent off a minute later before Kane Thompson-Sommers equalised to cap a crazy four-minute spell for the Dons.
Whitaker opened the scoring inside the first 10 minutes when he slotted past Dons goalkeeper Craig MacGillivray.
The midfielder then latched onto Aaron McGowan’s long pass before calmly slotting home a second before the half-hour mark.
Wigan loanee Mellish got Warne’s side back into the game when he lashed home from the edge of the box – his first MK Dons goal.
Leko, who had been booked after just four minutes, was then given his marching orders shortly afterwards for a second bookable offence.
The Dons had found themselves 2-0 down at Barnet in their last away game before coming back to draw 2-2, and Thompson-Sommers ensured a repeat when he curled in from the edge of the box with eight minutes remaining.
