Amario Cozier-Duberry nets dramatic equaliser as Bolton draw at Leyton Orient

Bolton rescued a point in stoppage time at Leyton Orient to come away with a 1-1 draw from the capital.

A late strike by Amario Cozier-Duberry broke home hearts after Jack Simpson looked to have secured all three points.

The first opportunity of the second half – and indeed the game – fell to Thierry Gale, who forced home goalkeeper Tommy Simkin to turn his effort around the post at full stretch on 50 minutes.

With the game and atmosphere going up a notch, a Xavier Simons shot from 25 yards sailed just past the post after 57 minutes.

Orient’s Dom Ballard sprung the offside trap before the hour mark but he put too much on his connection and the ball went over the bar.

The hosts broke the deadlock on 69 minutes when Josh Koroma put the ball across the face of goal and Simpson was on hand to fire home from close range.

But with eight minutes added time awarded, the equaliser came from Cozier-Duberry with a superb strike for the spoils.
