Football gossip: Arsenal reject Napoli bid for defender Jakub Kiwior

What the papers say

Arsenal have turned down a bid from Napoli for defender Jakub Kiwior, according to the Daily Star. The Serie A title hopefuls reportedly offered £12million for the 24-year-old Poland international, but the Gunners are said to value at him at more than twice that amount.

Celtic are keen to sign £7million-rated rising Lyon star Mahamadou Diawara in a permanent deal in January, with the 19-year-old midfielder understood to be frustrated by his lack of game time, reports the Daily Record.

Manchester United are believed to be willing to pay the £62million release clause for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen in January, according to Italian news outlet Il Mattino. The Nigeria international is currently on a season-long loan at Turkish outfit Galatasaray.
