Cratloe's Mark McDonagh was among the winners again as he partnered the Edward O'Grady-trained Always Enchanting to an easy success in the two-mile handicap hurdle at Clonmel on Thursday.

Owned and bred by Kay Russell, the Mark McDonagh-ridden seven-year-old led before the second-last hurdle and went clear before the last to beat Philip Rothwell’s Robindevidaster by six lengths at odds of 9/2.

Mark rode two Christmas winners and was also successful at Cork five days before his Clonmel success.
