TREATY United head coach Alban Hysa says all the pressure is on Dublin side Peamount United as they travel down to Limerick to play hi side in the Sports Direct FAI Cup this weekend.

The cup game, which takes place in the Markets field later today, Saturday, at 2pm will be a tough ask for the young Treaty Utd team.

Peamount currently sit at the top of the Women's Premier Division, while Limerick-based Treaty lie in ninth place in the table.

Despite the gap in league positions, coach Hysa has taken a lot of positives from this season.

"We have done a lot better than we did last year which can only be seen as progress. It is a development squad, the average age of the players would be about 20 years-old, which is potentially one of the youngest teams in the competition, so I can only see the progress we have made a positive thing," Alban Hysa said.

Now entering the second-half of the season, Canadian and American players that began the season with Treaty have returned to their home clubs which has allowed the club to bring in a host of new signings.

Four players from Cork and a further four from Dublin have joined Treaty United to bolster up the side's experience going into the FAI Cup.

Even with the new signings, Treaty will be up against it in the Cup game this Saturday.

Hysa continued: "Look, we are up against one of the best teams in the country in Peamount. They have some fantastic players. All pressure really is on them because on paper they are expected to win the game.

"We will respect them, but we won't be fearful of them considering how well we played against Shelbourne."

Treaty Utd will be hoping to create an upset in the women's FAI Cup this weekend but face an up-hill battle against an experienced Peamount side.
