Rapid expansion of European headquarters creates diverse range of vacancies

Diverse job opportunities at Analog Devices

With the ongoing expansion of its European headquarters in Raheen, Limerick, Analog Devices International (ADI) is currently recruiting across a range of disciplines at every level. The global firm has exciting opportunities for semi-conductor professionals in particular, including equipment technicians, process engineers, software engineers, and more.

ADI is a global semiconductor leader that bridges the physical and digital worlds to enable breakthroughs at the Intelligent Edge. ADI combines analog, digital, and software technologies into solutions that help drive advancements in digitized factories, mobility, and digital healthcare, combat climate change, and reliably connect humans and the world.

Local Employer for Over 40 Years

ADI was one of the first US high-tech companies to establish a presence in Ireland in 1976 and has become an employer of choice.  Now employing over 1,300 people at its original and main Irish hub, Analog Devices in Limerick is home to ADI’s European based Research and Development center and Ireland global operations manufacturing facility.

Jim Nagle, Senior Director Global Operations & Technology, Analog Devices, said “For almost 50 years, Analog Devices has been known worldwide for engineering greatness and operational excellence. Our products make the world function and it all begins with our people. Great things are never done by one person. They are done by a team of people.”

“We solve some of the world’s most complex problems. The ingenuity of our people drives our ability to make an impact as we create a more sustainable, connected and healthier world for future generations. Here, everyone has the opportunity to build a career dedicated to challenging the limits of what’s possible,” he continued.

Embedded in the Community

ADI organises significant STEM outreach programs targeting from 10-18-year-old students, e.g. the Analog Devices Primary Schools Robotics Competition where schoolchildren go to battle with their self-designed sumo wrestling robots. Over 7 years, more than 4,900 students across Limerick city and country have participated in the competition.

Employees are heavily involved in charitable and social endeavours throughout the region such as Time to Count, help with reading programs, Special Olympics and more.

Through the Analog Devices Annual Community Awards Program, the company donates €100,000 annually to 40 charities, social enterprises and voluntary groups in Munster - all nominated by employees.

Embracing Diversity

Employee Networks are the driving force behind ADI’s evolving culture. Current networks organized around a dimension of diversity include the Analog Veterans Network, LGBTQ+ Network, Neurodiversity Network, People of Color and Allies Network, Women’s Leadership Network and Young Professionals Network. Other Networks that help shape organizational culture and policy include the Green Team and Cultural Activities Board.

Sustainability in its DNA

ADI’s green credentials are many. On a local level, they have a very active Green Team who oversee programmes like Bee pollination and sustainable landscaping. The company was just announced as the first employer in Munster to have Gold Friendly Employer Certification status.
