THE Munster Rugby squad started their preparations at the High Performance Centre at UL today, Tuesday, ahead of the big interprovincial derby clash Leinster on St Stephen’s Day at a sold-out Thomond Park, 7.35pm.

On the injury front, following Sunday’s bruising encounter against Northampton Saints in the Heineken Champions Cup, Munster report that John Hodnett is going for a scan on a low grade thigh injury and his availability for St Stephen’s Day will be determined later in the week.

There is good news for Stephen Archer (ankle), Jack O’Sullivan (knee) and Simon Zebo (knee) as they all return to full training this week.

As confirmed earlier this month, Greencore Munster Rugby Academy lock Edwin Edogbo has sustained an ankle injury that rules him out for the coming weeks.

Continuing to Rehab: Tom Ahern (shoulder), RG Snyman (knee), Fineen Wycherley (shoulder), Paddy Kelly (head), Jack Daly (knee), Andrew Conway (knee), Keynan Knox (knee).
