MUNSTER Rugby recorded a timely victory ahead of the start of the Investec Champions Cup next weekend when easing past Glasgow Warriors 40-29 in the URC at Musgrave Park on Friday night last.
A sell-out attendance saw Munster secure a maximum five-point haul to move up to fourth place in the URC table.
Munster Rugby return to action this Saturday when hosting French side Bayonne in their opening Investec Champions Cup pool fixture at Thomond Park, 5.30pm, live on RTE2.
