PICTURES: Twenty teams compete in the Limerick Over 40s Charity Soccer tournament

Cup success went to Ballynanty Rovers who beat Shelbourne in the final and Kennedy Park won the Shield competition beating Carew Park in the final

A TOTAL of 20 teams competed in the Limerick Over 40s Charity Soccer tournament.

There was Cup success for Ballynanty Rovers, while Kennedy Park emerged as Shield winners at the tournament at Janesboro FC. 

Cup success went to Ballynanty Rovers who beat near neighbours Shelbourne 4-0 in the final.

Kennedy Park also proved successful in the Shield competition beating Carew Park 3-0 in the final.
