Emergency services are dealing with a fire at a derelict hotel in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh.
Nine fire appliances and 43 firefighters are tackling the blaze in Forthill Street which was reported in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The fire is at the former Railway Hotel in the centre of the town.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Police along with Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service (NIFRS) are currently at the scene of an ongoing fire at a derelict hotel at Forthill Street in Enniskillen and are urging the public to avoid the area and seek alternative routes for their journey.
“Forthill Street is likely to be closed for some time while emergency services deal with this incident.”
A fire service spokesperson said: “NIFRS crews are currently dealing with an ongoing incident at Forthill Street, Enniskillen.
“At present there are nine fire appliances and 43 personnel carrying out firefighting operations.
“We would advise members of the public to avoid the area where possible and nearby homeowners to keep their windows and doors closed.”
