Four men have died in road collisions across the Irish Republic this weekend.
In the latest incident, a man died in a single-vehicle crash at Lavally in Tuam, Co Galway, at around 4.30am on Sunday.
Gardai said the man aged in his 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene on the L2107 at Cappadavock.
An elderly man died in a collision in Co Galway at about 11.30pm on Friday and two men died in road incidents in Co Carlow and Co Kildare on Saturday afternoon.
Gardai said a man aged in his 80s died after a car struck a pedestrian on the Tuam Road in Loughgeorge. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
On Saturday, a man aged in his 30s was seriously injured after being struck by a bus on the N7 motorway eastbound, at Kill, Co Kildare at about 3.30pm. He died in hospital that evening.
Another pedestrian, a man in his 40s, died following a road crash at Ballyroughan Big, Borris, Co Carlow at 4.30pm on Saturday.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any of the collisions to contact local garda stations or the garda confidential line on 1800 666 111.
