A man has been arrested and almost 40 cannabis plants have been seized following an operation in Dublin this Sunday.
Gardaí attached to Stepaside Station and the DMR East Drugs Unit, as part of Operation Tara, carried out a search of a residential property in the Stepaside area of south Dublin, on Sunday, November 10.
During the search, gardaí uncovered a "cannabis cultivation operation" and seized 37 mature cannabis plants, a substantial quantity of cannabis herb and quantities of suspected MDMA and amphetamine.

According to gardaí, the estimated street value of the drugs seized is in excess of €300,000, pending analysis.
A man in his 40s was arrested in connection with the investigation and is currently detained at a garda station in the Dublin region under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
He can be held for up to seven days, and investigations are ongoing.
