Gardaí are investigating a hit and run incident in Dublin which left a pedestrian with serious injuries.
The incident involving a male pedestrian and a van occurred at approximately 1.45pm this Sunday at Cloverhill Road, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
According to gardai, the van failed to remain at the scene following the incident.
A technical examination of the scene has been carried and the road has since reopened to traffic.

The male pedestrian, aged in his 20s, was brought to hospital for treatment of what have been described as 'serious injuries'.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward and they are also seeking any camera footage, including dashcam video from those who were travelling in the area at the time as it may assist with the investigation.
